Job Title: Systems Engineer Human Factors
Location: Remote

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineer with a strong background in Aerospace Systems Engineering and Human Factors. The ideal candidate will have experience in system certification, requirements management, systems architecture, and configuration management while working on complex engineering programs.

Key Responsibilities

Define, execute, review, document, and close systems engineering activities.
Develop and maintain system architecture and design documentation.
Perform Human Factors assessments in accordance with AMC 29.1302.
Update and manage system requirements using Polarion or IBM DOORS.
Support system certification activities and ensure compliance with applicable standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile development environment.
Manage engineering documentation and configuration throughout the project lifecycle.
Work with Jira to manage engineering work packages and documentation updates.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) or a related engineering discipline.
Experience in Aerospace Systems Engineering.
Hands-on experience conducting Human Factors assessments per AMC 29.1302.
Experience with requirements management tools such as Polarion or IBM DOORS.
Knowledge of system certification processes.
Experience with configuration management tools.
Working knowledge of Agile methodologies.
Experience working on at least one complex engineering program.

Excellent documentation and technical communication skills.
Ability to work independently in a remote, collaborative environment.
Experience with systems architecture and requirements traceability.
