Job Summary:

The Senior Software Developer role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining cloud-based modular systems with an emphasis on DevOps automation, containerized microservices, and integration of various technologies. This position requires expertise in Azure DevOps pipelines, Java-based backend services, frontend frameworks, and AI/ML automation tools to deliver scalable, secure, and efficient software solutions while supporting production environments and collaborating across teams.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and administer CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps for continuous development and deployment.
• Monitor application performance in Azure cloud environments and resolve deployment issues.
• Implement automation for code integration, testing, deployment, and infrastructure management.
• Develop and test automation solutions using containerized microservices, Java/JEE, Spring Boot, APIs, Azure Logic Apps, Power Automate, databases, and frontend technologies like React/Angular.
• Document development tasks, durations, and align with management for finalization.
• Create and execute test plans including performance testing of solutions.
• Develop and implement application process monitoring procedures and support production operations.
• Prepare and conduct comprehensive technical knowledge transfer to technical staff.
• Establish communication and reporting processes to ensure effective stakeholder engagement and timely issue resolution.
• Perform incident response and root cause analysis to quickly diagnose and remediate production issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvements and lead postmortems.

Required Skills & Certifications:

• 5+ years experience with DevOps tools including Azure DevOps, Git, Kubernetes, Maven, and Docker.
• 10+ years experience designing and developing secure RESTful/SOAP APIs and microservices using Java/JEE, Spring Framework, SQL/NoSQL databases, and messaging queues.
• Experience with frontend development using React or Angular, JSON, HTML, CSS, XML, and XPath.
• Proficiency in containerization and orchestration using Docker and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Strong knowledge of DevOps pipeline concepts, IAM, OAuth, authentication, and authorization standards.
• Experience with AI, machine learning, OCR, and training AI models using Azure Document Intelligence, OpenAI, Cognitive Search, or similar technologies.
• 5+ years experience developing RPA solutions using Microsoft Power Automate and Logic Apps.
• Expertise in developing and executing unit, integration, and performance tests using Postman, ReadyAPI, SoapUI, or JMeter.
• Experience generating reports and data visualization using Power BI.
• Excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
• Prior development experience with Azure CI/CD pipelines, Java microservices, Kubernetes (AKS), containers, SQL Server, Logic Apps, and Power Platform.
• Knowledge of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) AA level compliance.

Special Considerations:

• Must be able to perform 5 days onsite as required.
• Ability to rapidly respond to production incidents and perform root cause analysis.
• Collaboration across multiple teams and stakeholders is essential.

Scheduling:

• Standard work schedule with potential for on-call or incident response duties as needed.
• Assignment duration extends through at least September 15, 2026.
