Safety Coordinator 

Qualifications

• Industrial safety experience preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards.
• High School Diploma required with at least 5 years of related experience.
• Certifications or degree preferred: OSHT, CSHT, CSP, ASP, SSH, or CSHO.
• Ability to read and write in English required.
• Must be bilingual.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and revise company safety policies and procedures in compliance with OSHA and other applicable regulations.
• Advise management on safety compliance concerns and preventative measures.
• Conduct employee safety training, awareness, and compliance programs.
• Maintain safety documentation and OSHA 300 injury logs.
• Prepare reports with corrective and preventative action recommendations.
• Conduct accident investigations and determine root causes.
• Monitor workplace safety practices and enforce company safety rules.
• Perform additional duties assigned by management or Human Resources.

Authority

• Conduct in-house safety and compliance training.
• Enforce company safety policies and discipline employees for safety violations as necessary

Pay: - $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
