Job Description

• Minimum of 10 years of experience as a PeopleSoft Financials BSA or functional analyst, with hands‑on involvement across multiple FSCM modules.

• In‑depth functional expertise in GL, AP, AR, AM, Purchasing, EX, Treasury and Tax
• Strong understanding of chartfields, trees, allocation methods, commitment accounting concepts, and workflow routing within PeopleSoft Financials.
• Experience supporting complex financial cycles, including transaction processing, reconciliation, encumbrance management, and close activities at month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end.
• Comprehensive experience managing PUM images, patches, and upgrade efforts, including impact analysis, functional testing, defect tracking, and validation.
• Ability to gather business requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and analysis of existing processes, then translate them into clear functional specifications.
• Functional SQL proficiency for data analysis, investigation of issues, audit support, and validation of financial transactions.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with finance, accounting, procurement, audit, and IT teams to ensure system alignment with business needs.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, support production issues, and deliver high‑quality functional solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Commitment Control, Treasury, advanced Asset Management functions, or other specialized PeopleSoft Financials modules.
• Familiarity with PeopleTools features such as Query, BI Publisher, Page Composer, or Integration Broker (functional awareness).
• Background working with integrations to external financial systems or data warehouses.
• Experience in large enterprise, government, or higher‑education finance operations.
• Ability to identify and recommend process improvements leveraging delivered PeopleSoft functionality.
