Pediatric Nurse Practitioner
Job Type: Part-Time
Salary: $105,000–$125,000
Schedule: Wednesday-Friday, 8AM-5PM 

We are seeking a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with over 5 years of experience in a pediatric setting, providing care for patients under 21 years of age. The ideal candidate must have extensive knowledge in performing well-child visits, sick visits, physical exams, diagnosing and treating common illnesses, and managing chronic conditions such as asthma or diabetes.

Key responsibilities include prescribing medication, ordering diagnostic tests, providing preventive care and immunizations, and offering health education and anticipatory guidance to families. Patient visit notes should be documented within 48 hours of each visit.

Candidates must hold a current license to practice in Georgia .

Key Responsibilities

Patient Assessment:

• Conduct physical examinations, including well-child checks, school physicals, and sports physicals.

Diagnosis and Treatment:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat acute illnesses (e.g., cough, flu) and manage chronic conditions (e.g., asthma, diabetes).

Prescribing and Testing:

• Prescribe medications and order/interpret diagnostic tests to aid in diagnosis and treatment.

Preventive Care:

• Provide immunizations, perform developmental check-ups, and offer guidance on nutrition, growth, and development.

Patient and Family Education:

• Educate patients and their families on health management, preventive care, and necessary follow-up steps.

Collaboration:

• Work with physicians and other healthcare team members to ensure continuity and comprehensive care for patients.

Additional Requirements:

• Documenting in EMR system (AdvancedMD)
• Bilingual a plus
