Medical Office Coordinator / Patient Services Representative

Location: Fort Worth, TX (1412 May St, Fort Worth, TX 76104)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay: $18–$19/hr (paid weekly)
Type: Full-Time Short term Contract

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and patient-focused Medical Office Coordinator to support a busy healthcare clinic in Fort Worth. This role is ideal for someone with strong communication skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Answer high-volume inbound calls and assist patients with inquiries
• Document detailed and accurate notes in electronic medical records (EMR)
• Route patient messages and documentation to appropriate clinical staff
• Schedule appointments and manage provider calendars
• Verify insurance information and patient eligibility
• Perform chart preparation and appointment confirmation calls
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and care teams

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn EMR systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a medical office, call center, or healthcare setting
• Experience with scheduling, insurance verification, or EMR documentation

Additional Information

• Must be able to pass drug screening and background check
• Health screening requirements include TB test, MMR, Varicella, and Hep B titers, and respirator clearance
