Job Title: OT Network & Cyber Security Engineer

Location: Houston, Texas, USA (Onsite)

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced OT Network & Cyber Security Engineer with strong expertise in Operational Technology (OT) environments, network infrastructure, and cybersecurity. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Cisco networking, Palo Alto firewalls, OT Admin Zone support, and infrastructure hardening within industrial or enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and manage OT Admin Zone environments
• Perform Cisco-heavy network deployments and configurations
• Configure and manage Palo Alto firewall rules, alerts, and security policies
• Implement cybersecurity safeguards and secure-by-design principles
• Support infrastructure hardening and security compliance initiatives
• Monitor and troubleshoot OT/IT network issues
• Work with VMware and vCenter environments for virtualization support
• Collaborate with cybersecurity and infrastructure teams on network security improvements
• Ensure secure connectivity and operational continuity across OT systems

Required Skills

• Strong experience in OT Network and Cyber Security
• Hands-on expertise with:
  • Cisco network deployments
  • Palo Alto firewall configuration and monitoring
  • OT/Industrial network environments
• Knowledge of:
  • Secure-by-design principles
  • Infrastructure hardening
  • Cybersecurity safeguards
• Experience with VMware or vCenter administration/support
• Strong troubleshooting and deployment experience in enterprise environments

Preferred Background

• Experience working in Oil & Gas or Industrial environments
• Familiarity with OT security frameworks and segmentation
• Ability to work onsite in Houston, TX or relocate/commute
