Job Summary The Front Desk employee, under the direction of the Business Office Manager, is responsible for checking patients in and out of the office. This person ensures that all of the proper paperwork is completed and filed thoroughly and accurately. Regular attendance is an essential part of this job. Full‑time, 40 hours per week. Work schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday – Evansville, 08:00 am – 04:30 pm (EST) Tuesdays – Washington, 08:00 am – 04:00 pm (EST) Fridays – Vincennes, 07:00 am – 04:30 pm (EST) Essential Functions Welcomes on‑site patients and visitors by greeting them warmly and professionally. Registers patients (check‑in/check‑out) and maintains patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal, insurance, and demographic information in accordance with doctor preference and compliance requirements. Protects patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information. Schedules/reschedules appointments for patients in accordance with established procedures. Processes and collects patient payments for copays, balances, DME, and form requests. Maintains operations by following policies and opening/closing procedures. Job Qualifications Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills. Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast‑paced environment. Some degree of computer proficiency. #J-18808-Ljbffr
