job summary:
Manufacturer in the Cullman area is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to add to their team. The ideal candidate will have experience developing, implementing and optimizing manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and safety in a manufacturing environment. Experience with AutoCAD or Solidworks preferred. Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred, but other experienced candidates will be considered. Understanding of robotic systems a plus!
All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.

responsibilities:
- Develop and implement manufacturing processes to optimize efficiency, safety and quality
- Utilize AutoCAD or Solidworks to develop machine processes and equipment layouts
- Map out and design process flows
- Schedule and oversee line trials
- Utilize strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve process-related issues effectively
- Conduct tests and monitor process performance in production to identify areas for improvement
- Manage installation of equipment and outside contractors
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred but not required; will consider experience
- At least 2 years of experience in manufacturing
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and welding
- 3D design/drafting experience preferred
- High and Low Voltage preferred
- Ability to work on the floor and be hands-on
- Excellent communication and organization skills required
