Estate Legal Assistant | West Chester, PA

A well-established law firm in West Chester, PA is seeking an experienced Estate Legal Assistant to support attorneys within its Trusts & Estates practice. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative team that values professionalism, growth, and work-life balance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and proofread wills, trusts, deeds, correspondence, and other estate documents.
• Support estate and trust administration matters and assist with tax return preparation.
• Maintain electronic and physical files and manage attorney calendars and deadlines.
• Handle billing, conflict checks, and new matter intake.
• Coordinate document execution and provide general administrative support.
• Manage a high volume of calls and correspondence.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of legal assistant experience, preferably in Estate Planning, Estate Administration, Tax, or Corporate law.
• Strong Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
• Experience with Outlook and document management systems such as iManage.
• Familiarity with billing software (TABS preferred).
• Ability to navigate IRS and government websites.
• Typing speed of 70+ WPM and excellent proofreading skills.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
