HR Assistant (Temporary Contract)
Location: Chicago, IL About the Role
Our client is looking for a friendly and organized HR Assistant to help support their people operations during a busy period. What You’ll Be Doing
Assisting with day-to-day HR administrative tasks
Helping with onboarding paperwork and employee files
Scheduling interviews and coordinating meetings
Responding to basic HR and employee inquiries
Updating HR systems and tracking employee information
Supporting recruitment and hiring activities as needed
Helping ensure HR documents are accurate and well organized
What We’re Looking For
Previous experience in an HR, admin, or office support role is an asset
Strong organization and time-management skills
Comfortable using email, calendars, and basic HR or office software
Friendly, professional communication style
Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to handle confidential information
