What Youll Do:
As an Electrical Designer at Peter Basso Associates youll join project teams working with top architects contractors and facility owners across diverse markets - education healthcare research institutional multi-family and mixed-use. Youll apply creative solutions to complex challenges and contribute to projects from concept through construction.

What We Are Looking For:
The ideal candidate has the following experience education or qualifications:

• Experience indesigning any one of the following electrical systems:
  • PowerDistribution Systems including medium and low voltage distribution systems standby power applications load calculations short circuit and coordination studies arc flash hazard.
  • Lighting Systems including calculations lighting controls luminaire selections and architecturally integrated lighting systems.
  • Auxiliary Systems including fire alarm systems voice/data structured cabling systems access control CCTV and other low voltage systems design.

• Associates degree or studies toward a Bachelors degree in Engineeringor an Engineering-related
  curriculum from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum 5 years experience in commercial building systems design.
• Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD andRevit.
• Ability to work together with the project manager discipline lead engineer and all team members on assigned engineering tasks assuring technical expectations schedule and manpower budgets are met.
• Knowledge of all design disciplines coordination required and the impact on theproject.
• Good written and verbal communication skills and strong organizational skills.
• Team-oriented problem-solving skills and decision-making ability.
• Detail oriented self-motivated andflexible.
