Job Description

Join our team as an Electrical Assembly Technician, where you will be responsible for the electrical assembly of various size drives, electric transformers, and cutting wires. You will follow work orders and be trained on schematics for future use. Work in a collaborative environment with teams of 2-4, utilizing various hand and power tools to work on low voltage lines and small - medium. This bench assembly role, not line assembly.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical assembly of drives and electric transformers.
• Crimp, measure, and cut wires.
• Prepare electrical components for further assembly departments.
• Follow work orders and schematics for assembly tasks.
• Collaborate with teams of 2-4 members.
• Utilize hand and power tools effectively.
• Work on low voltage drives.
• Focus on bench assembly tasks for the entirety of the shift.

Essential Skills

• Mechanical aptitude.
• Experience with hand and power tools.
• 1+ years of assembly (mechanical or electrical) experience with the same company.
• 1+ years of experience reading blueprints or schematics.
• Soldering, electronic assembly, and electrical wiring skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of electrical or wire diagrams.

Work Environment

Work on the 1st shift from 5:00am to 3:00pm, Monday through Thursday, or 3pm-1am, in a clean, well-lit manufacturing environment. Weekend shift 5am-5pm Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Safety is a priority, with steel toe boots and safety glasses required. The facility is brand new and serves as the US headquarters, with plans to expand significantly in the coming years

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of South Milwaukee, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.27 - $20.07/hr.
