Salary: $58,011 - 58,011 per year Requirements:

• We require a bachelors degree in one of the listed fields, including computer science, software engineering, information systems, cybersecurity, electrical engineering, mathematics, or a related discipline.
• We need hands-on software development experience in one or more of the following: Visual Studio/C# with JavaScript/jQuery, Java, or PL/SQL.
• We require cloud development experience, preferably in AWS GovCloud.
• We need strong SQL proficiency.
• We require familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git.
• We prefer an AWS Cloud Practitioner certification.
• We require an active Secret security clearance.
• We prefer experience with DevSecOps practices, software development lifecycles, automation toolchains, and CI/CD pipelines.
• We prefer experience building and working with container images.
• We value the ability to work independently and collaborate with technical and non-technical cross-functional teams.
• We value strong written and verbal communication skills.
• We require high school education or equivalent.

• We provide software engineering advisory support, including systems planning, integration, and architecture guidance.
• We maintain, support, and enhance software across a stack that includes AWS technologies, PL/SQL, Java, Visual Studio/C#, JavaScript, and Oracle databases.
• We fix defects, modernize legacy code, and develop new software features.
• We create and maintain unit tests to support software reliability and correctness.
• We support production deployment activities, including release planning, release documentation, and release scripting.
• We perform integration testing across development, staging, and production environments.
• We design and maintain database objects such as tables, views, triggers, functions, procedures, and packages.
• We ensure the system remains aligned with DoD standards.
• We support ATO controls throughout the SDLC, including the use of static and dynamic application security testing tools.
• We support software development and integration efforts in line with government strategy, planning, documentation, and implementation guidance.
• We implement STIGs and maintain artifacts needed to sustain authority to operate status.
• We maintain SQL Server databases used by the application.
• We conduct hardware and software audits of workstations and servers to verify compliance with standards, policies, and configuration requirements.
