COUNTER STAFF NEEDED, open availability is a MUST!

Bakery counter staff work at the front of the shop. They act as the face of the business, providing friendly, and professional service.

Key Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):

• Customer Service: Greet every customer with a welcoming attitude, answer questions about menu items or ingredients, and offer helpful recommendations.  

• Order Processing: Take orders accurately, count items, safely box or bag pastries and bread, and process cash or card payments via the register.  

• Display Maintenance: Restock cases and shelves throughout the day, rotate products for freshness, and ensure attractive visual presentation.  

• Cleanliness & Safety: Keep the counter, seating, and front areas neat. Follow health and food safety rules.  

• Preparation: Brew and make coffee and other beverages based on customers' orders, prep simple to-go items like sandwiches, or restock packaging supplies.  

Qualifications & Skills

• Communication: Upbeat, friendly, and clear verbal communication skills.

• Organization: Ability to multitask and work quickly during busy morning rushes or mealtimes.

• Basic Math: Capability to handle cash and calculate totals or change accurately.

• Experience: At least 1 year experience in food service, preferable bakery or coffeee shops.
• cash-handling/register experience is a plus. 

Physical Requirements (not limited to):

• Stand, walk, and bend for long periods (typically 3 to 8-hour shifts).

• Lift or carry moderate weights, such as trays of baked goods or supply boxes (up to 25–50 lbs depending on the employer).

• Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, or holiday
