The City of Nacogdoches Police Department is seeking a Certified Police Officer for the Patrol Division . We are looking for individuals ready to protect and serve the community of Nacogdoches.
What You'll Do:
Perform law enforcement duties, including patrolling assigned areas in a police car, on a bicycle or on foot. Responsibilities include responding to calls for assistance, investigating criminal offenses, apprehending criminals, collecting and preserving evidence, preparing reports and directing traffic. You will also develop and maintain a working rapport with citizens and community leaders.

All entry-level applicants must successfully complete and pass a standard written examination and the Nacogdoches Police Department physical agility test.
