Windsor Windows & Doors , a  division of Woodgrain, manufactures wood, vinyl and cellular PVC windows and patio doors. We specialize in designing and crafting quality products to the customer’s exact specifications. With manufacturing facilities in Iowa and North Carolina, our products are sold throughout the United States, Mexico, and Canada.

Compensation: $0.64 per mile + $30.00/Stop and $30.00/Detention Pay plus a quarterly bonus and a $5,000 Sign On Bonus. (Weekly Average is up to $1500.00. Shutte Route can average up to $2000.00/weekly).

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or GED
• 18 months verifiable interstate tractor trailer commercial driving experience within the last 3 years
• No more than 2 moving violations within the past 3 years and no more than 3 within the past 7 years
• No Reckless driving; including but not limited to speeding 15 or more MPH and/or leaving the scene of an accident in the past 3 years
• No at-fault DOT recordable accidents in the past 3 years
• No Driving Under the Influence, DUI violations within the past 7 years
• Valid Class A CDL required

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate a sleeper trailer and 53' trailer
• Operates tractor/trailer in accordance with Company Policies, DOT Guidelines, and traffic laws.
• Conducts and documents pre- and post-trip inspections on truck and trailer.
• Ensure Cargo is secured correctly
• Makes product deliveries according to proper route and schedule as indicated on the manifest.
• Ensure product accuracy and quality and visually inspecting product as it is unloaded from the trailer
• Obtains customer signatures on proof of delivery and submits to the dispatcher as required.
• Clean and sweep truck and trailer as needed.
• Operate and maintain a Mobile Electronic Onboard Recording device
• Report truck, trailer, equipment, and material problems and/or damage, accidents, and traffic violations promptly to Fleet Supervisor
• Maintains a clean and professional appearance
• Attends departmental staff and safety meetings
• Occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk and hear
